Our Company

We are currently recruiting for a UFR Project Engineer to be placed in Paris and would be on a minimum 12-month contract. The main function will be to assist the Subsea and UFR Package Manager in coordinating the work within the UFR Package organizing all activities with the contractors, meeting, dedicated review, audits, planning review, management deviation, technical clarification, etc.
The Service Provider will manage the interfaces with the other Packages, assist the UFR team by making technical recommendations, ensuring the timely delivery of the UFR Package together with providing efficient support to the overall project UFR team.

Responsibilities

  • HSE:
    • Demonstrate an exemplary behavior with regards to HSE,
    • Implement HSE requirements within his area of responsibility.
  • Organization:
    • Assist the UFR team upon request,
    • Liaise and regularly communicate with the relevant HQ and Affiliate entities on UFR Package Manager request
  • Interfaces:
    • Manage interfaces with all other concerned packages (Drilling, SPS, FPSO and Field Operations)
  • Project Management:
    • Organize and participate in weekly/monthly progress meetings,
    • Develop internal procedures if needed,
    • Assist in development and follow-up of the planning for the UFR Package,
    • Prepare the Project Execution Plan for the UFR Package with the UFR Package Manager,
    • Organize and participate to Project Reviews including PTR,
    • Communicate with the UFR contractor’s team and Third Parties to solve day-to-day problems,
    • Anticipate problems in his field of activity and propose solutions or optimizations to the UFR Technical Leader and UFR Package Manager,
    • Ensure continuity of activities during UFR Package Manager or UFR Technical Lead absence,
    • Follow-up of any specific subject as requested by UFR Package Manager.
  • Reporting & Communication:
    • Ensure adequate and timely reporting of UFR Package
    • Assist the UFR Manager with the relations with Concessionaire / Partners regarding UFR matters and prepare and participate to Workshops & Committees with Partners and Concessionaire when required
    • Ensure confidentiality of all the documentation produced

Skills / Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in engineering, or equivalent
  • Experienced in studies and execution phases of large offshore oil & gas projects, especially linked to UFR engineering, construction, installation and commissioning activities
  • Have strong skills in technical management, in multitasking work
  • Strong team spirit, manage skilfully and efficiently the relationships with GPI team and external teams.
  • Be consistently conscious regarding the GPI/Project activities
  • Be attentive to the GPI / Project needs and contribute to its process’s improvement
  • Fluent in English
