UFR Technical Lead
Paris
12 Months (Renewable)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate studies and surveys for UFR engineering, construction, fabrication, testing, and installation related to Flowlines, Risers, and Umbilicals.
  • Lead design and engineering efforts for pipeline installation, ensuring adherence to COMPANY standards and Project requirements while addressing deepwater, HP, and HT challenges.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop installation procedures and methodologies.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for pipeline installations and life-of-field activities.
  • Oversee the preparation of drawings, equipment specifications, and procurement activities during pre-commissioning, commissioning, and EPC phases.
  • Ensure all aspects of engineering, fabrication, construction, testing, and commissioning are addressed by reviewing and validating relevant UFR documentation from Contractors.
  • Coordinate with other Package teams (FPSO, SPS, etc.) on interface matters, supported by the Interface Manager/Leader.
  • Promote safe working practices within the team throughout all project phases.
  • Provide timely reporting to the UFR Manager, including consolidation reports and issue tracking.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Engineering with a focus on subsea pipeline/risers or equivalent experience.
  • Fluency in English and French.
  • 15-20 years of experience in large offshore oil & gas projects, specifically in UFR engineering, construction, installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
  • Experience with major UFR contractors is advantageous.
