Job Summary

Responsible for downhole and surface barrier envelopes in wells on all producing and water injection platforms and templates in the Greater Ekofisk Area

Job Description

Accountability & End Result:

  • Apply and support HSE and Q best practices in planning of well operations
  • Deliver planning and support of well operations
  • Optimize available resources during planning and execution of well operations
  • Expand of individual knowledge / participation in synergy and experience transfer
  • Apply Schedule & Cost performance analysis
  • Comply to regulatory and corporate policy
  • Administrate allocated Service contracts

Assigned roles, responsibilities, procedures and other – general:

  • Plan safe, environmental sound and efficient well operations through collaborative efforts following the Well Design
  • & Delivery Process and related policies/requirements Ensure well design and operations comply with corporate management standards and regulatory requirements
  • Provide technical support during operations (includes duty requirements/offshore as needed)
  • Track, analyze and investigate issues to improve operational performance Provide input for risk assessment and mitigation plans
  • Monitor and analyze operational progress against plans and follow up on significant problems with corrective
  • actions
  • Develop accurate cost estimates inclusive of appropriate contingency and monitor
  • Recommend implementation of new techniques and practices and conduct feasibility studies for new design
  • concepts as needed
  • Document and champion lessons learned
  • Prepare and archive relevant documentation for well operations
  • Support delivery of reporting to offshore, management, authorities
  • Administrate allocated service contracts and COPNO procedures
  • Perform weekend duty as required per Duty Guidelines

Specific roles and responsibilities

  • TA shall advise the well integrity engineers in a deviation process or MOC when owned by Well Integrity
  • TA is COPNO’s representative in Well Integrity Industry forums (WIF etc.)
  • TA reviews, maintains and is responsible for updating COPNO’s Well Integrity steering documentation
  • TA is responsible to deliver annual reporting to Petroleum Safety Authority (RNNP) and to A&OI
  • Analyse test results, investigate and diagnose well barrier issues
  • Provide technical advice to well operations, operation and well mechanics regarding well integrity and verify non-
  • conformance(s) and notifications for wells
  • Provide well integrity technical assistance in well barrier risk assessment
  • Specify well maintenance and testing frequency on wells
  • Ensure KPI’s in place to track compliance with requirements

Required competency:

  • Bachelor degree and operational experience of minimum 3-5 years

Preferred competency:

  • Proficient in Norwegian and/or English, both verbally and in writing
