Candidate Profile

  • You are a highly qualified engineer with a strong technical capacity to lead in wind yield engineering. 
  • You possess excellent soft skills that enable you to animate and federate the enhancement of methodologies. 
  • With 15 years of experience in wind energy activities, you have a solid understanding of wind energy yield models and methods, backed by 10 years of relevant knowledge.
  • You have a good grasp of fluid mechanics, numerical analysis, statistics, and meteorology. Your ability to utilize wind engineering software, including CFD, data analysis tools, wind farm design applications, and programming languages, is commendable.
  • A scientific mindset, team spirit, and great autonomy are essential for your success in this mission. 
  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is required, and knowledge of French would be appreciated.

Activities

OneTech is seeking a Methods, Tools, and Performance Manager based in Paris-La Défense, whose primary role will be to lead the implementation and dissemination of methodologies throughout the Company. This position will focus on enhancing and developing tools and methodologies using digital solution applied to wind yield engineering.

As a Methods, Tools, and Performance Manager, your daily tasks include:

  • Propose, define, develop, and implement internal methodologies for wind measurement, wind resource analysis, wind farm flow analysis, layout optimization, energy yield calculation, and reanalysis of operating farms [Onshore/Offshore].
  • Develop and implement tools to enhance the performance of current wind yield engineering activities, including those in project phases and operational assets.
  • Animate methodology sharing and transmission within the Wind Energy Yield Engineer Community.
  • Create, revise, and lead TotalEnergies Referential regarding Wind Energy Yield: Company Rules, Guides & Manuals, and General Specifications.
  • Act as the referent for the wind yield Company referential.
  • Propose and pilot technology development projects focused on the digitalization of wind yield methods for the Company.
  • Benchmark and improve the use of existing wind flow and wake models, while proposing and developing new models.
  • Participate in R&D activities and develop internal tools.
  • Create and perform technical training for wind yield engineers.
  • Support all activities related to the expertise of wind measurement, analysis of wind resources, and calculation of wind energy [Onshore/Offshore].
