Our client is seeking a Workover Foreman to work within their facilities located in Port Fourchon, LA for an initial 1-year contract (with possibility of extension).
Accountabilities:
- Inspect all equipment arriving at the shore base for compliance.
- Supervise workover operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the yard crew to safely load and offload equipment from vessels and/or trucks.
- Coordinate with engineers and technicians to meet operational goals.
- Maintain a strong understanding of workover operations and interdepartmental needs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational procedures.
- Communicate effectively with engineers, technicians, and clients.
- Address and resolve any operational issues or challenges.
- Report on operational performance and compliance status.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of workover operations.
- Experience in supervising workover or similar operations.
- Ability to inspect equipment for compliance with regulations.
- Effective communication skills for interaction with engineers, technicians, and clients.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Experience in coordinating and managing logistics for equipment loading and offloading.
