PMS sells at N950.22 in Lagos, N999.22 in Sokoto, N980.22 in Rivers

Leeds, England — The Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation Limited, NNPCL has released estimated prices of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), also known as Petrol obtained from the Dangote Refinery in its retail stations across the country.

PMS will sell for N950.22 in Lagos, N999.22 in Sokoto, Kano, Kaduna and the FCT, N980.22 in Rivers.

NNPCL explained that estimated prices includes associated cost and September off take is being paid for in US dollar but naira transaction will commence in October.

In line with the provisions of the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA), NNPCL explained that PMS prices are not set by Government, but negotiated directly between parties on an arms length.

The NNPC Ltd assures that if the quoted pricing is disputed, it will be grateful for any discount from the Dangote Refinery, which will be passed on 100% to the general public.
